TWO Expressing gratitude to twenty significant people
.
Last year, I sent sms-es to all my friends, thanking them for making my 16th year on earth a special one. I received one reply, questioning my intention for thanking so many people and if I was trying to get people to wish me blessings. So, after that incident, whereby my intentions were misunderstood, I've decided to really think of who I need and want to thank, besides my family, to whom I owe my life to.
So, in no particular order...
Joel Er - For being the brightest star in my constellation
Joann Chia - For being the memorable meal date, during which the greatest of conversations always takes place
Lynette Chen - For being the bamboo friend from whom I can draw strength, who teases me and whom I love to tease
Hilary Hoe - For being that source of inspiration that keeps me going
Benedict Long - For being one who always has confidence in me in everything I do, which gives me more confidence.
Yvonne Low - For being that lovely flower that brightens up any of my days without fail
Mark Tan - For being the intellectual one who never fails to bring new perspective and directions in any conversational topic
Aloysius Chia - One who has inspired me with his passion, strength and determination when it comes to serving God - A true servant and child of God
Theresa Yoong - For being the "da jie" (older sis) who's caring and loving, and the many jokes we've exchanged with each other
Jeanette Tan - For all the times you've brought light and laughter into my life and for being my only fellow youth lector, whom I cherish and love deeply
Annabel Lee - For being the most significant and irreplaceable "bimbo" in my life, and for giving me many precious memories
Rachel Er - For being the sheep who's worth losing 99 other sheep to look for when lost
Jacqueline Teo - For being that "wad da heck" gal who's oh-so humble and generous as a friend - one whom I love and cherish deeply
Michelle Ho - For her entertaining cute actions and for inspiring me with her desire to care for others, her love and her devotion
Eef Van Emmerik - For being someone who's constantly inspired me tremendously with his abilities and expectations of his own work
Dannel George - For being the friend who's love has proven to be more than just unconditional
Lara D'Souza - For being that crazy and wild friend who has brought about countless beautiful memories, and for those "silly boy" comments
Pamela Woo - For being the hilarious, but sensible individual who's a fantastic conversation person and who holds a special place in my heart
Nadia Samat - For being the hot babe who's oh-so funky and cool to be with and, on top of that, for being such a lovely friend who's touched me in many ways
Joachim Lai - For being my GUY friend in Mass Comm to chill and hang out with and for being the first beautiful friend I made in school (you'll always be the significant individual who had the courage to take that first step of saying hello during orientation, amongst all the dao-ing in the atmosphere)

FIVE Meet up with Godpa Joel Nicholas Chua
After so many months of trying to get hold of him, I finally was able to have dinner with Godpa Joel, all thanks to dearest Lynette Chen who set up a surprise "date" for me last Saturday. What a time we had, catching up, talking rubbish AND insightful stuff... Awww man... What a fantastic Godfather I have! Proud to have chosen him! Love ya Joel!!! Thanks Lynette!

SEVEN Gain weight
YES! I'm FINALLY over 50kg! I bought a weighing scale from IKEA yesterday and that's what it said! Gosh... finally! Since Primary 4, my weight has been stagnant between 48kg and 50kg. Never has it crossed 50. And what an accomplishment this is!!! (if you knew how high my metabolism rate is, you would know how huge an accomplishment this is) YAY!!!
