about My One Desire Fulfilled.

When I was 7, Power Rangers was the "in" thing. Kids were crazy over it. My greatest desire then was to get every Power Rangers action figure there was. I fulfilled it.

When I was 12, I wanted to save enough money to buy my mom a huge bouquet of flowers, worth more than a hundred dollars, for Mothers' Day. I fulfilled it.

When I was 14, my greatest desire was to earn the title "Junior Patician Of The Year", the highest honour any lower secondary student in my school could receive. I fulfilled it.
.
When I was 16, my greatest desire was to study Mass Communication in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I fulfilled it.
.
Having recently reached a mature age of 18, my greatest desire was to serve my God in a way ten folds larger than I have ever done before. I fulfilled it.

After six months of struggle through countless petrifying, utterly discouraging obstacles, I finally come of out YOUTH PRAYER RALLY 2006, bringing the highest, well deserved glory and honour to Him, for He deserved nothing less.

I'm glad things turned out the way they did. In my opnion, "success", as a word, would be an understatement in describing last night's event. If you were there, you would know. The turn out was fantastic! I should think there were nearly a thousand present. I think it was one of the hottest, most electrfying thing youths of this generation in CTK have done (and to think this is the beginning). And I'm glad Maranatha has grown so much through this.

The best way to end off last night was to hear my father say to me, "I'm proud of you, son. I'm very proud of you" when driving me home. Oh the joy and the warmth that surged through my veins were indescribable. I'm rather elated that my family came down, including my brother and new sister-in-law, whom I'm proud to now be on good terms with. Hehe!
.
Looking back, I've really grown from this journey. Trust is what I have gained from Him and absolutely joyful am I to have deepened tremendously my relationship with Him.

I asked for Strength...
And God gave me difficulties to make me strong.

I asked for Wisdom...
And God gave me Problems to solve.

I asked for Prosperity...
And God gave me a Brain and Brawn to work.

I asked for Courage...
And God gave me obstacles to overcome.

I asked for Love...
And God gave me Troubled people to help.

I asked for Favours...
And God gave me Opportunities.

"I received nothing I wanted...
But I received everything I needed."

HERE'S A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO THE LORD!!!

Here's a clip from last night. Enjoy!!!
.
And did I say I'm totally looking forward to next year's prayer rally? CAUSE I TOTALLY AM!!!
.
(Thanks Joachim, Mal and Kenneth for coming down!!!)
